Description:
Gottfried Silbermann built his first piano in 1732, was the first piano manufacturer in Germany, and for many years thought to be the creator of the piano. It was later established that this honour belonged to Cristofori. This model is a modern styled upright and was built by Rippen and is in a mahogany satin finish which is in quite good condition although there is some slight fading in places. There are 3 pedals on this model so it can be played quietly if required using the celeste or middle pedal. Serviced, tuned and delivered to a ground floor locally within this price.
